Mellis railway station

Mellis railway station was a station in Mellis, Suffolk. It was opened in 1849 on the Great Eastern Main Line from London to Norwich. A later single-stop branch was opened to nearby Eye, operated by a shuttle service.
Mellis was closed as part of the Beeching Axe in 1964, along with the route to Eye.
