Meliti municipality

Meliti is also a small village by the same name in the Meliti area.

Meliti municipality (Greek: Δήμος Μελίτης) is a municipality in the Florina Prefecture, Greece. Population 7,038 (2001). The seat of the municipality is in Neochoraki.

The villages hold's an annual Ilinden celebration.[citation needed] The local Slavic name for the village is Ovcarani - Овчарани or sometimes Voštareni - Воштарени.[1]
