Meliteieis

Meliteieis (Μελιτειείς) is a municipality in the Corfu Prefecture, Greece. It is located in the southern part of the island of Corfu, at the point where it turns to the southeast. It has a land area of 67.054 km² and a population of 6,690 inhabitants (2001 census). The seat of the municipality is the town of Moraitika (pop. 587). Its largest towns are Ágios Matthaíos (pop. 1,583), Moraïtika, Stroggylí (553), Chlomós (497), and Áno Pavliána (479).
