Melita F.C is a Maltese football club that plays in the second division. Melita F.C is an amateur football club that represents St. Julian's.

The club was founded in 1933 and till this year Melita F.C have never been in the top flight before although coming very close on numerous occasions. After only 6 years in the Malta Football Association Melita F.C managed to go all the way to the final of the Maltese Cup. In the final Melita F.C faced Sliema Wanderers. Melita F.C went on to win the game 4-0 that was the first ever major Cup trophy Melita F.C have won till this day (that included top flight teams).
Melita made it to the final for the second consecutive year and they met Sliema once again but this time Sliema had won the match 3-2.
During the past 74 years Melita F.C have had lots to celebrate about. Many titles have been won in the third and second division as well as Melita F.C's youth nursery team has been very successful during the past years.

In 2004 Melita F.C opened up their first 5-A-side artificial pitches and in the summer of 2007 Melita F.C launched the Melita F.C Complex. This included changing rooms, gymnasiums etc. And most important thing about the Complex was the 105M full sized. FIFA had rated the pitches 2 star. That means that the pitch was good enough to host UEFA Cup and UEFA Champions League matches. The complex also included stands with a maximum attendance of 38 (52 standing up). When the pitches where launched it was declared that Melita had the best coaching and training facilities on the Maltese islands, beating their local arch rivals St.Andrews (Luxol)
