Melissa Amber Schuman (born August 21, 1984) is an American singer and actress. Schuman is best known for her role in the all girl teen band Dream. With Dream, she appeared in their two biggest hits, "He Loves U Not" and "This is Me". Schuman quit the band after their two hits to pursue her own solo career in singing. Schuman has never gained much fame in singing since her departure from Dream. She has gained some success in acting with appearances in such movies as Love Don't Cost a Thing, The Hollow and Silent Scream. Schuman has also appeared on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and has even hosted TRL.

On January 28, 2008, Melissa reported that she would be forming a new music group with former Dream bandmate Ashley Poole, and would be auditioning for girls and even starring in a reality show to detail the new group's formation.[2] On February 2, 2008, Melissa reported on her forum that the remaining girls had been found, indicating that the group was now complete, although still unnamed.

She married dancer Brandon Henschel on June 7, 2006, at the Prado at Balboa Park in San Diego, California. The couple spent their honeymoon in Hawaii.[3]
