Melissa Odabash is an American fashion designer. In 1998, she created her own line, and within two years her Zebra-print bikini had become the best selling item in the Victoria's Secret catalogue.[citation needed] Her collections have been featured on several Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues and videos.
In 2003, Odabash was also chosen by Speedo to design a collection to celebrate Speedo's 75th Anniversary. For this project, she collaborated with musician and photographer Bryan Adams. The fashion shoot for the project included artists and celebrities, including dancer Joaquin Cortes, Ines Sastre, and Jerry Hall. In 2005, Odabash was also chosen among various designers to create the sailing team uniform for the Spanish team Desafio Espanol competing in 2007's America's Cup in Valencia, Spain.
Over the years, Odabash has expanded her clothing range to include kaftans, bags, dresses and accessories. In 2006, she teamed up with designer Julien Macdonald to develop a range of swimwear and beachwear under the brand Odabash Mcdonald. Odabash works out of her atelier in London's Mayfair district. The label opened their first flagship store in London's Notting Hill in 2007.
