Melila Purcell III (born February 5, 1984) is an American football player originally from American Samoa. He is is an American football defensive end who currently plays for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League after being drafted in the sixth round of the 2007 NFL Draft by the Browns.

He played high school football at Leone High School in Leone, American Samoa.

He played college football at Hawaii, where he played in 48 games making 208 tackles and 19 sacks.

Purcell was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the sixth round (200th overall) in the 2007 NFL Draft. He was a member of the practice squad for the first 16 weeks of his rookie season and was activated to the team for the final regular season game against the San Francisco 49ers on December 30.
