Meld Stakes

The Meld Stakes is a Group 3 flat horse race in the Republic of Ireland for three-year-old and above thoroughbreds. It is run over a distance of 1 mile and 2 furlongs (2,012 metres) at Leopardstown Racecourse in late July.

Prior to 2003 it was run at the Curragh, and before 1994 it took place in late August. The race was run over a distance of 1 mile and 4 furlongs (2,414 metres) prior to 1993.

It is named in honour of the racehorse Meld, winner of the British Fillies' Triple Crown in 1955.
