Melbourne Jazz is an annual international jazz festival held in Melbourne, Australia in early May. 'Melbourne Jazz 2008' celebrates the festival's 10th anniversary and presents an action-packed six day program from 29 April to 4 May 2008.

Performances range from free concerts at Federation Square, master classes at BMW Edge, evening performances at Hamer Hall, to midnight sessions at Melbourne's premier jazz club, Bennetts Lane. The festival covers not only jazz but other genres such as world music, latin, blues and gospel.

A colourful program in 2007 featured over 200 artists from all over the world, including Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, Gary Burton, Pharoah Sanders and Australia's own James Morrison.

Albert Dadon took over as Artistic Director in 2003.
