Melazzo is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 70 km southeast of Turin and about 35 km southwest of Alessandria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,241 and an area of 19.7 km².[1]

Melazzo borders the following municipalities: Acqui Terme, Bistagno, Cartosio, Castelletto d'Erro, Cavatore, and Terzo.
