Melanophryniscus pachyrhynus is a species of toad in the Bufonidae family. It is endemic to Brazil. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical seasonally wet or flooded lowland grassland, intermittent freshwater lakes, and intermittent freshwater marshes. It is threatened by habitat loss.
