Melanophryniscus klappenbachi is a species of toad in the Bufonidae family. It is found in Argentina, Paraguay, possibly Bolivia, and possibly Brazil. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, subtropical or tropical moist shrubland, intermittent freshwater marshes, and pastureland.
