Melanie Marshall (born December 1, 1982) is an English athlete, who is a member of the British swimming team.
Born in Boston, England and currently residing in Loughborough, she is 1.7 m (5′ 6″), 67 kg, and has been described as stocky in build. At the 1995 European Youth Olympics in Bath she won four gold medals. Marshall has won a silver medal in the Women's 200m backstroke event and bronze medals in the 100m backstroke and 200m freestyle. She has also broken the British 200m Freestyle record.
At the 2008 Short Course World Championships in Manchester, she came third in the Women's 4x100m freestyle relay.
She can be commonly seen in Loughborough walking her jack russell dog.
