The Melanesian Scrubfowl (Megapodius eremita) is a species of bird in the Megapodiidae family. It is found in Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montanes.
