Mel Wesson

Mel Wesson (born February 12, 1958 in London) is a part of Hans Zimmer's Remote Control Productions (formerly Media Ventures) team though he often works from his London studio rather than from Zimmer's studios in Santa Monica, CA. His main role is as an ambient music designer, a duty he has performed on several of the team's scores including the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy, The Da Vinci Code (film) and The Ring Two. He has also composed additional music for a number of films including Batman Begins, and worked with composer James Newton Howard on several others including Freedomland and Blood Diamond.
