Mel Krajden

Mel Krajden is a physician, microbiologist and public health administrator in Vancouver, Canada. Krajden has commented publically on issues in Canadian health such as infectious diseases in Canada's blood supply, CJD-tainted beef, bioterrorism [1], the 2002 SARS epidemic,[2] [3] [4] [5] the spread of Avian Flu, West Nile Virus [6], and Hepatitis C [7].
He is the Director of Hepatitis Services at the BC Centre for Disease Control, a scientific advisor to Canadian Blood Services and a Professor at the University of British Columbia.
