The rav's name is Brandsdorfer, not Bransdorfer. בראנדסדורפער is how I read it last week. Anyone able to confirm? If nobody objects I will change the article's title sometime. --Daniel575 09:08, 18 June 2006 (UTC)

It might be the same to you (or even me), but it isn't the same to someone who has never heard of him before and reads this article. There is a sort of tendency to Anglicize the name מאיר as Meir, but that is inappropriate in this case. I really think the article should be moved to Myer Brandsdorfer Redaktor 12:22, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

Meyer is better than Meir, which is plainly incorrect. But I prefer Myer, which leaves no doubt as to how it should be read. Let's leave this open for a while so that others can comment. Redaktor 22:21, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
