Meina is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Novara in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 100 km northeast of Turin and about 40 km north of Novara. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,407 and an area of 7.8 km².[1]
The municipality of Meina contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Ghevio and Silvera.
Meina borders the following municipalities: Angera, Arona, Colazza, Invorio, Lesa, Nebbiuno, Pisano, and Ranco.
