Mein Vater, der Tango-Koenig von New York ("My Father, the Tango-King from New York"' ISBN 3821839007) is an autobiographical novel by German author Agnesa Kadur.
Born in Germany in 1946 she moved with her mother to Saxony where the Russian miliary was stationed. This region became part of the communist DDR and Agnesa, not knowing that her father was a famous American Dancer, believed that her father was dead until the fall of the Berlin Wall. Her search for identity went on for another 10 years until she finally found her half brother in New York.
