Mehmet Topuz (born September 7, 1983 in Şefaatli, Yozgat) is a Turkish footballer currently playing for Kayserispor. He wears jersey number 66, the traffic code of his city. He can play in all midfield positions and also plays rightback.

Topuz had begun his career in Yolspor, a local team of Kayseri. He joined Kayserispor after spelling almost 3 years at that club. He has been given several times the Golden Man of the Month of 11 Golden Men awards, a traditional monthly presented ceremony supported by Turkey Heart Foundation.[1][2][3] His successful league appearances attracted the bigger clubs of Turkey. However, Kayserispor Board declared that they will not let him go in an aggressive manner, even with publishing advertorials on billboards.[4][5] Afterwards, he extented his contract with the club.[6]. He has been linked with Spanish side Valencia C.F. in May 2008.[7].

He played 12 times for Turkey U21 and scored 2 goals. Topuz has also represented the Turkish national football team 19 times.
