Mehdipatnam is a major suburb in Hyderabad, India. It is part of the old city of Hyderabad.
Its proximity to the IT hubs Gachibowli and Madhapur has become a new driver for its growth, since its only 8km away.

Mehdipatnam is the centre for shopping for many suburbs and villages. It has a huge shopping area right at the heart.
There is a vegetable market, Rythu bazaar here, making a good addition for vegetable shopping.
There are some popular restaurants serving Hyderabadi food like Sarvi Bakers etc. But the choice multiplies with a neighboring suburb Toli chowki's restaurants like Mandar, 4 Seasons, Niagara, Kebab place etc.
The suburb is at its best during the Holy month of Ramzan, when the local hotels dish out haleem.
