Though this image is subject to copyright, its use is covered by the U.S. fair use laws, and the stricter requirements of Wikipedia's non-free content policies, because:
- It is a historically significant photo of a famous individual.
- No other clear color 35mm photos were taken of Meher Baba in his lifetime. He died in 1969 before color film was available in India. The film from which this screenshot was taken was made by a Dutch cinematographer Louis van Gasteren who had an exclusive opportunity in 1967 to film Baba in 35mm color shortly before he died. - Very low resolution jpg compared to the original 35mm frame
