[edit] See also?

Why is RahXephon a "see also"? RahXephon should be a see also for Evangelion, because that is an anime it is similar to. Megazone 23 is much more similar in tone to other 80's Artland projects like Macross or Orguss, or other Artmic projects like Bubblegum Crisis... Shared creators, similar themes, robots that turn into motorcyles...

I would hazard a guess that the RahXephon reference is due to the fact that both shows involve a Tokyo where the residents are completely unaware of the true state of their world. In Megazone, the residents don't realize that they're on a spaceship. In RahXephon, the residents believe that the rest of the world has been destroyed. Whether the state of Tokyo is a significant enough part of the plot to rate a "see also" in this article is probably another matter, though... --Junior612 22:56, 29 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Integrate with Macross articles

Any chance of someone better integrating this with the assorted Macross articles? Don't know enough about the series to do it myself, though I do vaguely recall it being linked with them... --Sukael 20:03, Jun 21, 2005 (UTC)

Megazone has no direct connection with Macross besides being by the same people and incorporating similar thematic elements. Robotech borrows footage from both -- perhaps that's what you're thinking of? Leejc 00:16, 21 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Megazone23-part1-DVDcover.jpg

Image:Megazone23-part1-DVDcover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 22:30, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] first profitable OVA

the opening paragraph talks about megazone 23 being one of the first profitable ova's, wasn't it THE first OVA to make a profit?

It was also noted for being one of the first OVA's (the 9th) if memory serves correct. I'll do some digging but if anyone knows for sure it would be better to state if it was deffinatly the first profit making ova.
