I don't see how this got a not notable listing. I would think a simple google search would reveal a lot of hits and activity. As an example this game was the sourceforge project of the month in May 2003, also the user community is very active.
Wikipedia is a fairly broad dictionary. Just because someone does not instantly recognize something, I would hesistate to label it not notable.
To further argue that this is notable, this sourceforge project is about the 100th most active project (out of 70,000) projects on sourceforge (for the week of Jan 20,2007) , recieves > 200 downloads a day, has spawned several sub projects, and a google search for megamek returns 366,000 articles.
