Meghan Toohey

Meghan Toohey (born in 1976 in Chelmsford, Massachusetts) is a singer/songwriter, guitarist and record producer. In 1994, she moved to Boston, Massachusetts to attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music. There she started garnering attention playing local venues under her own name, as well as playing guitar for Warner Recording Artist Lori McKenna and local favorite Deb Talan. During 2000, she toured in the UK with The Saw Doctors. In 2003 she formed The So and So's and went on to win Album of the Year at the Boston Music Awards for their release of "Give Me Drama". Meghan has toured as a guitarist and recorded with Lori McKenna, Jess Klein, and Nettwerk Recording Artists The Weepies. Meghan plays keyboard and electric guitar on The Weepies' album Say I Am You[1] In 2005, she relocated to Los Angeles where she produced Canadian artist, Vivek Shraya's 2007 release, "If We're Not Talking". Currently, she is playing guitar for The Weepies and working on Q Division's Rachael Cantu's upcoming record.
