Meghan Markle

Meghan Markle (born August 4, 1981 in Los Angeles, California) is an American fashion model, spokesmodel, and actress. She is formerly the model who held case #24 on the hit US television game show Deal or No Deal.

Markle was born and raised in Los Angeles. Markle took an interest in theatre in high school and was on the Prom Court.
Markle was the first member of her family to graduate college, as an undergraduate of Northwestern University where she graduated with a double major in Theater and International Relations. She worked for the U.S. Embassy in Buenos Aires in the Public Affairs Department. Markle would eventually go back to Northwestern for her Master's in International Diplomacy.

Markle's acting career began several years ago. A friend gave a manager a copy of a film Markle did in college. The manager, without delay, gave Markle a call which eventually led to the start of her acting profession.
In 2002, Markle got her start in an episode of the daytime soap opera, General Hospital. She's also appeared in television episodes of Century City, Cuts, Love, Inc., The War at Home, and CSI: NY. Markle has also made appearances in the films A Lot Like Love and Deceit.
Markle is also appearing in the upcoming television series The Apostles, set to release in 2008. She will appear as Kelly Calhoun
Besides being an actress, she is also one of the models in the television game show Deal or No Deal. She carried briefcase number 24, until February/March 2007, when she quit the show. Kelly Brannigan currently takes her place on the show.

Markle made her debut late in the first season of Deal or No Deal on April 12th, 2006.
Aside from a single appearance holding case #11, Markle has been the regular model carrying case #24.
