Megget Reservoir in the Scottish Borders is an impounding embankment dam that holds water for Lothian. Tunnels, aqueducts and pipelines convey the water to the Lothian area; from the Tweedsmuir Hills into the Manor Valley, through the Meldon Hills and into the reservoirs at Gladhouse and Glencourse. Megget is located about two miles to the west of St Mary's Loch in the Ettrick Forest.

The Megget Reservoir Scheme was first considered in 1963. The Water Order was granted by the Secretary of State in 1974, and construction started in 1976
