[edit] Biography
McCauley got her professional start singing country music at the age of 7—as Megan Ashley—performing at county fairs in Ohio, releasing albums, even recording a duet with Vern Gosdin—"He's Got the Biggest Little Arms"[1] Within a few years she moved to Orlando, Florida began writing her own songs, eventually changing her style from country to rock.
She was signed by Wind-up Records and in 2005 they included one of her songs on the Elektra soundtrack and two others on the Fantastic Four soundtrack. Also that year, she released a self-titled EP.
In 2006, a single was released, "Tap That", and the following year, an album, Better Than Blood. Better Than Blood is composed of five previously-released songs plus six others.
