Megan Carmel Jossa (born 29 January 1996[1] in Bexley, London, England) is a child actress best known for playing Courtney Mitchell in the BBC soap opera EastEnders.

[edit] Acting Career
Megan played Courtney Mitchell in the BBC soap opera EastEnders. She played the role from March to June 2006.[1]and during that time she worked closely with actors Ross Kemp, Steve McFadden, Barbara Windsor and Charlie Jones.[1]
Jossa also appeared in a reconstruction on the ITV part life regression show, Have I Been Here Before?, and appeared on The Bill on 4 April 2007.
Megan is currently playing Debbie in Billy Elliot at the Victoria Palace Theatre.

She lives in South East London in Bexley.[citation needed] She enjoys martial arts and football and supports West Ham along with her family.[1] She likes Tracy Beaker and The Simpsons.

In 2006, Megan was nominated for the best young actor award at the Inside Soap awards. She lost out to Hollyoaks actor Ellis Hollins.
