Megamind a music and DJ oriented website which started in the end of 2002 by one person. The websites main focus is on Nordic clubbing and DJ Culture, serving countries like Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland with a large database with events, biographies, lyrics and it has become very popular amongst teenagers over the years. The website is a free community for likeminded people, looking to expand and explore DJ culture and Electronic Dance Music ( EDM ).
Megamind also run the Most Popular Nordic DJ every year which elects the years Most Popular Nordic DJ. Past winners has been DJ Orkidea (2 times - 2003 & 2005) and Tim Andresen (2006). The interesting part of the voting process is that it is around 150 days long stretching from late August/early September until the 31 of January the upcoming year. It is by far the longest single voting process in the world of it's kind.
