Megalomys is a genus of rodent in the Cricetidae family, specifically dealing with giant rice rats. All of the species are now extinct, with dates of extinction ranging from 1881 to the Mount Pelée eruption in 1902. It contains the following species:
- Antillean Giant Rice Rat (Megalomys desmarestii) †
- Saint Lucia Giant Rice-rat (Megalomys luciae) †
- Barbuda Giant Rice-Rat (Megalomys audreyae) †
