Megachurches affiliated with the Assemblies of God

An Assemblies of God megachurch is a large church affiliated with the World Assemblies of God Fellowship having 2,000 or more worshippers for a typical weekly service. According to a 1996 statistic, nearly one in ten megachurches in the United States are affiliated with the General Council of the Assemblies of God [1].

  • Auckland Samoan A/G Inc. Mt Roskill, Auckland City. Ps Pulepule Samani Pulepule, Senior Pastor and Superintendent for the Samoan Fellowship in NZ, a post he has held for more than 42 years. Pastor Pulepule recently became the Superintedent of the World Samoan Assemblies fellowship at their 15th World Convention in Samoa 2006. The Samoan A/G fellowship of NZ formed an independent group and are no longer affiliated with the Assemblies of God in New Zealand, but are affilliated with the Assemblies of God USA, under the leadership of superintendent Ps Thomas E Trask, and the Samoan Assemblies Worldwide.
