Megabox (movie theatres)

Megabox (Hangeul:메가박스) is a chain of movie theatres in South Korea. Its headquarters are in Samseong Dong, Gangnam Gu, Seoul and it was established in 2000.

Megabox is a part of the Orion Group under licence from Loews Cineplex Entertainment of the United States. The first Megabox was launched in COEX Mall in Samseong Dong in 2000 and the second two years later in Busan for the international film festival. There are currently more than 10 branches nationwide.
