Mega TV was Malaysia's first subscription-based cable television service. It was incorporated on 18 October 1994 and was operated by TV3.

Transmissions began on 1 November 1995 through a microwave-based broadcast system, followed by the first subscriptions.
Faced with stiff competition from the Astro satellite television network, combined with the failures to expand its content, Mega TV was forced to cease broadcasting in 2001.
