Whenever the player selects any of these characters for a team, the character comes in as a group of holographic clones (for example if the player selected Mega Man, he or she would get about 4 Mega Men). The real character is the goalie (the goalie's name will be in the HUD, with the clones sharing his standard colors), while the clones all look alike.

The game has no ending. After finishing the game, it just returns to the main title, no matter what mode it has been played on.

[edit] Trivia

  • Among this game's unused content is a set of credits, despite it not having an ending.
  • It is not possible for the player to select Dr. Wily as part of an exhibition team, even though you can slightly see the edge of the icon that would be Dr. Wily.
  • It is the first Mega Man game to feature a two-player mode.
  • This is one of the few Mega Man games to depict Rock as a civilian during the introduction.
  • Bomb Man is referred to as Bomberman.
  • The game has a number of obvious typos, such as "Congartulations."
  • On the title screen, the game is called "Mega Man's Soccer" yet on the box and everything else the apostrophe & s is omitted.
