The MegaMan NT Warrior anime (alternatively Rockman EXE in Japan) is divided into five separate (but not independent) series. The first series (commonly just referred to as EXE) consists of two seasons (called Areas in the DVD releases); the first season is 25 episodes long and the second season is 31 (a total of 56). The second series is called Axess which consists of 51 episodes. Stream comes next, acting as a direct continuation of the Axess storyline, and also consists of 51 episodes. The fourth series is called Beast and has only 25 episodes, but it is directly continued by the final series called Beast+ which consists of 26 episodes (bringing the total of Beast and Beast+ episodes to 51).
So far, only the first two series (EXE and Axess) have been dubbed into the English language. Initially, a large chunk of episodes were skipped in dubbing during the first EXE, but Viz Media retraced their steps and redubbed most of them as special "lost episodes" after the finale. However, four episodes still remain undubbed. As for Axess, five episodes were never broadcast on Kids' WB, but it's still unknown whether the episodes were dubbed or not.
Though the series has been announced for an eventual appearance on Toonami's online anime broadcasting service, Jetstream, it's unknown whether reruns of EXE or Axess will appear or if Viz will premiere a dub of Stream. There's also no word on whether or not Viz will even continue the series.
The English version of the anime is notorious for unusual edits, censorship, and the rearrangement or skipping of episodes in comparison to the original Japanese version, specifically during EXE. (The dub of Axess turned the series back around to a more faithful representation of its Japanese counterpart, though many strange alterations--particularly name changes--are still present.) The anime received ever more alteration largely due to Kids' WB who aired episodes extremely out of order, failed to broadcast some episodes at all, and even combined some episodes specifically for the U.S. broadcast. These episodes appeared in their normal state for Canadian audiences and on the DVD releases.
Though the episode list will go by the original Japanese ordering, the English names and terms will be used.
