In 1986 MEGA developed the first European enterprise modeling software for Windows. Today MEGA's software solutions are deployed internationally and used by more than 35,000 people worldwide.

[edit] Standards and Industry Forums
Active in industry standards groups, MEGA is a member of the Object Management Group, BPMG, and TeleManagement Forum (TMF) [1]. The MEGA software integrates standards such as Unified Modeling Language (UML), XML Metadata Interchange (XMI), Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN), and Business Process Execution Language (BPEL). MEGA also provides support for the Zachman framework, TOGAF, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), and eTOM.

MEGA has two software suites, the MEGA Modeling Suite and the MEGA GRC Suite. The MEGA Modeling Suite provides a repository-based platform for business process analysis and enterprise architecture projects. The MEGA GRC Suite(Governance, Risk and Compliance) Suite associates a set of complementary tools based on a common platform to implement efficient corporate governance, including risk management, internal audit, and internal control management.
