To what extent is the decision reached final?--Agha Nader (talk) 16:53, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
- The mediation cabal is a rather informal venue; the decision reached is not "binding" as such, but reached with the consensus and agreement of the editors involved. If the mediation breaks down (i.e. one or more editors refuse to compromise on the issue), then either the Arbitration or Meditation Committee then become involved. - As well, noting that one side or the other participated in the mediation and then refused to abide by its conclusions get a rather dim view by ArbCom, should it actually come to that. - Arcayne (cast a spell) 17:16, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
- I may participate later on in the process. So far, my views are being expressed by others. I am just worried that certain users (such as pejman.azadi) will not participate and their views will not be expressed and that they will not abide by the decision reached.--Agha Nader (talk) 17:38, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
