[edit] What's going on?

On June 15, 2007 User:ESkog edited a discography I created, deleting links in the article to every one of the images I included. He made no attempt to place warnings of any kind on the page so I could add Fair use rationale to the images. I have asked him repeatedly on his talk page to revert his edits, mark the article, and allow me time to fix the problems. You can read his answers on my talk page. [edit] What would you like to change about that?

His style of editing is too curt. The guidelines encourage editors to place dated warnings on pages where there are problems. If I were a new editor, I would abandon my account, slink off, lick my wounds, drink wine and eat lots of chocolate. Fortunately, I'm a tough old broad, so I'll just drink. (Bummer, no chocolate in the house!) He needs to slow it down. I know mine is not the first complaint at the rapidity with which he wields his mighty keyboard. Robbie Giles 07:03, 16 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Administrative notes

Due to the comment below by Durin, I am going to close this case. I will notify the ininiator of the rationale behind the removals and whack give the editor removing the links a friendly nudge. Geo. Talk to me 21:48, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

The initiator has already been notified. Case Closed. Geo. Talk to me 21:50, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Non-cabal member note

Frankly, there's not much reason to open this case. The issue hinges on the removal of album covers from discographies. Album covers are being removed from a rather large number of discographies, based on Wikipedia:Non-free content criteria items #3(a) and #8. While there has been considerable debate regarding this application of policy, the debate is now in the past and the removals are continuing apace. Eskog is acting to enforce this application of policy, as are many editors. --Durin 20:40, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
