[edit] Request Information
- Request made by: Vivenot 00:26, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
- Where is the issue taking place?
- ...Pewsey
- Who's involved?
- ...User:Vivenot and User:GidsR
- What's going on?
- ...GidsR added a section to the article about a local internet cafe/e-resource centre which I removed as I believed that it was not encyclopedic but an advertisement. I'm sure it is a very worthy enterprise but I just don't feel it should be included in a Wikipedia article.
- What would you like to change about that?
- ...I think the reference to ePewsey should be removed. I'm not sure about PACT. Please can you mediate for us.
- Would you prefer we work discreetly? If so, how can we reach you?
- ...You can contact me via my Talk page.
[edit] Mediator response
This seems like a fairly easy NPOV/notability case. All the saem, I'll try to nip this in the bud before it escalates Jem 18:33, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Compromise offers
This section is for listing and discussing compromise offers.
[edit] Discussion
While using the talk page of the article in question to solve a dispute is encouraged to involve a larger audience, feel free to discuss the case below if that is not possible. Other mediators are also encouraged to join in on the discussion as Wikipedia is based on consensus.
- Jem, thanks for your mediation. Your proposed solution of an NPOV Amenities section seems acceptable to me. If GidsR is in agreement, you should be able to close this case. Best regards. --Vivenot 10:55, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
Great. Resolution reached, so I am closing this case. Jem 18:40, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
