[edit] Request Information
- Request made by: Xiner 22:39, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
- Where is the issue taking place?
- Turn Left
- Who's involved?
- various, User:Trödel
- What's going on?
- A user posted biased information/links on the article. When I tried to talk to him politely on his talk page, he displayed an uncivil tone. When I raised that on another page, User:Trödel intervened on that person's behalf. As an admin, he was rather biased, especially when he assumed bad faith on my part while remaining silent on the the uncivil behavior of the other person. User:Tr%C3%B6del has since stationed himself on the page.
- What would you like to change about that?
- I'd like another admin to intervene. A few editors on the page do not think the disputed section should be on the page. It was deleted a few months ago as a result but as stated earlier, the same editor has inserted the passage again. The actions of a deranged individual did not affect the standings of the group and do not deserve to be given the same standings as say, editors of the paper.
- Would you prefer we work discreetly? If so, how can we reach you?
- Yes, please. I don't want to upset an admin if I don't have to. It's a bit intimidating. I guess I'm asking for a third opinion more than a mediation with what I believe to be a biased admin. Please contact me on my talk page. Thanks.
