Where is the issue taking place?: Template talk:The Batman

Who's involved?: User:ThuranX, User:A Man In Black, User:Markeer, User:Josiah Rowe, User:ChrisGriswold, others

What's going on?: An original reversion war escalated into personal attacks, sarcasm and angry words, leading to a current situation of a multi-pagelinked navbox being in danger of constant reversion and argument

What would you like to change about that?: Calmer voices are needed, and a consensus built for the template

Would you prefer we work discreetly? If so, how can we reach you?: Actually I would prefer you be overt, not discreet. As someone involved in this dispute I feel it would be inappropriate for me to make any other edits to the page or talk directly with the user who has become angry at me. However, please feel free to reach me on my talk page if you need to.

The page seems to have died down and the main disputant hasn't answered, so I am closing this case. Should further trouble arise, this page will remain on my watchlist (though leaving a note on my talk page would be best so I don't miss it). Cowman109^Talk 06:47, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

This section is for listing and discussing compromise offers.

Suggestion: I suggest that the template be pruned down to a small size including the most relevant and quality articles related to Batman. To supplement it, create a List of Batman related articles (something like List of Hinduism-related articles) and prominently link to it on the template. Guermantes 02:59, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
