[edit] Request Information

Request made by: FlavrSavr 00:03, 8 July 2006 (UTC) (as suggested by FrancisTyers here)
Where is the issue taking place?
Macedonism
Who's involved?
FunkyFly, Telex, Hectorian Cigor, Filip_M, and me (FlavrSavr, only active at the talk page, more involvement announced)
What's going on?
The article investigates the controversial notion of Macedonism, itself mainly, or exclusively present at the historiography of the representatives of the Bulgarian and Greek POV, and, as such, if not properly attributed to a certain view and sourced is very likely to become WP:OR and a threat to the WP:NPOV. Mass deletions of verifiable sources and violations of WP:3RR have occured.
What would you like to change about that?
I would like to work out a WP:NPOV version of several points in the article, backed with verifiable sources, and create an atmosphere where original research partisan reverts will be no longer be present. I would also welcome a greater presence of non-partisan editors.
Would you prefer we work discreetly? If so, how can we reach you?
I prefer openness.

[edit] Mediator response

Ok, I'm taking this case. I don't really like using the discussion section for case pages.. so we'll talk everything out either ay my talk page, or at the article itself... whichever you prefer. --The Prophet Wizard of the Crayon Cake 00:28, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

The discussion is currently take place on the talk page of the article... we seem to be making something like a compromise. Things are looking good. --The Prophet Wizard of the Crayon Cake 23:28, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
Okay... so the discussion seems to have cooled down, and productive changes are being made. Since there's no immediate crisis at hand, I'll just close the case quietly and exit the scene without making too much noise. --The Prophet Wizard of the Crayon Cake 21:00, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
