- Where is the issue taking place?
- The BaeYongJoon page
- Who's involved?
- Myself, Mr.Tan, and his sockpuppet fabshelly2006
- What's going on?
- He keeps putting false information on the page from a Singaporean gossip rag, and I keep correcting it. The information he insists on putting in has been proven false, but he insists it's true because it was published in a Singapore "celeb mag", one I've had dealings with before over false information. I got corrected information from the actor's management site, as well as some solid/verifiable media sources (Korean and Japanese legitimate press). I used to work for The Star. While some stories in tabloids are solid, most simply aren't, and are generated to sell mags. But for him, it's gotten to a personal/spite thing. I admit he pissed me off by using my name, but in the end it just makes him look bad. My concern, though, is over the casual user who comes here looking for information and instead gets a bunch of tabloid garbage. If it's unflattering and true, I'm all for putting it up. Mr. Bae is actually quite honest in interviews, such as the recent GQ Magazine (Korea) about his depression and use of sleeping pills, etc. But if it's fake, why be so insistent about putting it up? I know some Asian men are really jealous of Bae, 'cause their wives are out chasing him instead of cooking their dinner like they used to. They can be really hostile toward him. I have a feeling this is Mr. Tan's problem - jealousy.
- What would you like to change about that?
- I keep correcting it, and he takes it as a personal affront when I do so, even going so far as to create a new account called fabshelly2006 and putting in attempts at personal attacks on the subject (apparently Mr. Tan is quite the homophobe, based on his homosexual/brokeback mountain 2 post).
- Would you prefer we work discreetly? If so, how can we reach you?
- My email's fabshelly@yahoo.com - I offered to talk this over with Mr. Tan but his ego seems not to let him. Right after I gave him my email, though, I found myself signed up for all sorts of email subscriptions, and am now removing upwards of 100 spam mails per day from my inbox. So your email *might* get caught in my spam filter. I hope not. (and you had the nerve to blame ME for your spam trouble! Shame shame Michelle!)
This is such a public mess at this point, I don't think there's much need to be discreet. Fabshelly 21:57, 2 July 2006 (UTC)
Rachelle Jones is starting a BYJ church in Honolulu. She claims that Bae Yong-Joon is the second coming of Christ! Can you believe it?!?!?! She also says that she will have a web site up this week, and she is starting a letter writing campaign to get Bae Yong-Joon to come visit the new church. Time will tell, but I think things are looking up! :-)

[edit] Compromise offers
This section is for listing and discussing compromise offers.
- I'll negative (true) stuff up about BYJ if that's what Mr. Tan so desperately needs to somehow feel better as a human being, if he'll stop making sockpuppets and putting false information on the page.
[edit] Discussion
He's just gonna keep putting the false stuff up there, no matter what. Even if it's proven to be false.
Also, he's using for sources websites that lifted, word for word, his incorrect wikipedia entry. Yes. He's using those as sources. Hello?
