[edit] Request Information
- Request made by: MaxMangel 01:03, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
- Where is the issue taking place?
- In the article called Jane Roberts
- Who's involved?
- User:Caleb Murdock
- And myself
- What's going on?
- The new user, Caleb, although in his own way is trying to improve the article, is either ignorant or uncaring as to rules such as WP:NOR, WP:V, WP:NPOV, WP:NPA,WP:AGF and probably others. He is currently reverting my changes without citing any reason. He has stated he is 'no longer negotiating' with me. He claims I am not qualified to edit the article. On the discussion page he makes personal attacks rather than reasonable attempts at dispute resolution. His edits are biased. He is essentially a big fan of Jane Roberts and so is put offside that I'm trying to add criticism. The discussion and evidence of this is on the Talk page.
- What would you like to change about that?
- He needs to be shown that he is breaking a number of wikipedia rules. If he can be taught to edit properly then he may be a useful editer. A mentorship might help. It might help if he were blocked for a time so that he can learn what he is doing is wrong.
- Would you prefer we work discreetly? If so, how can we reach you?
- No, he needs to be contacted by people other than me. I would like someone to contact him and be very clear about where he is going wrong.
Thanks for any help.
[edit] Mediator response
Prepared to assist. Grobertson 23:13, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
Please:
- Don't make personal attacks. Even if you think another editor's mother is the stupidest whore ever to violate a zoning ordinance with her beach towel, don't say so. It doesn't help ;)
- Indent comments with colons, so it's easy to see who said what.
- Sign comments by going ~~~~ at the end.
No activity. Closing case. --Ideogram 03:07, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
