Where is the issue taking place? On the talk page of the article Greg Bravo (Gary Scott)
...
Who's involved? In early April, someone reported that this article was untrue. J. LaTondre added a Dispute tag. I joined in on the talk page after doing some research that confirmed that in fact the article was false. Since then, several anonymous editors (whom I suspect is one person)have vandalized the article, including removing the dispute tag and the discussion.
...
What's going on? I tried to add a vote for deletion but couldn't figure it out so I continued to debate on the talk page. During the past several days, we have gotten nowhere and the other editor(s)has become sarcastic and is evading the central question.
...
What would you like to change about that? I would like the other editor(s) to present positive evidence (if they have any) other than Greg Bravo's own website that he is the lead singer of the original "Na Na Hey Hey". I in turn will present positive evidence of my research that indicates that another individual is the lead singer.
...
If you'd prefer we work discreetly, how can we reach you?
...
Would you be willing to be a mediator yourself, and accept a mediation assignment in a different case? No, I am not saavy enough about how the process works as of yet.
This is, following the Categorical Imperative, the idea that you might want to do
what you expect others to do. You don't have to, of course, that's why it's a question.

Mediator response

Hi, I am Adam and I have been assigned to mediate this case. I prefer that we discuss this matter on Talk:Greg Bravo (Gary Scott). Ideogram 04:10, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

During the mediation User:Musicknight spent most of his time trying to discredit User:Fortheloveofhampsters' sources, engaged in long off-topic diatribes, failed to comply with repeated requests to supply verification for his claims, questioned basic Wikipedia policy, continued to use the process as a soapbox to extol the virtues of the subject of the article, and when I started editing his replies to remove this accused me of failing to be neutral, at which point I offered to leave and he accepted. Evidence

Please report evidence in this section with {{Wikipedia:Mediation_Cabal/Evidence}} for misconduct and {{Wikipedia:Mediation_Cabal/Evidence3RR}} for 3RR violations. If you need help ask a mediator or an advocate. Evidence is of limited use in mediation as the mediator has no authority. Providing some evidence may, however, be useful in making both sides act more civil.
Wikipedia:Etiquette: Although it's understandably difficult in a heated argument, if the other party is not as civil as you'd like them to be, make sure to be more civil than him or her, not less.

Compromise offers

This section is for listing and discussing compromise offers.
