[edit] Request Information

Request made by: Amalas =^_^= 15:05, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
Where is the issue taking place?
Blue Ocean Strategy
Who's involved?
myself (Amalas =^_^=), User:Splash, User:Tawkerbot2, User:Computerjoe, User:TheProject, and various users (probably the same person) known only by their IP: User:59.184.168.237, User:59.184.150.68, and User:203.124.139.195
What's going on?
It had been decided through an AfD (archive here) to be redirected to Sustainable competitive advantage, but the anonymous user(s) keep recreating the article. Each of the logged-in members have only reverted/recreated the redirect once per person, but it's been done 3 times total.
What would you like to change about that?
Someone needs to decide if the article should stay or if it should be redirected. Nothing good can come of constant reverting...
If you'd prefer we work discreetly, how can we reach you?
I can be reached via my talk page.
Would you be willing to be a mediator yourself, and accept a mediation assignment in a different case?
Yes, gladly
This is, following the Categorical Imperative, the idea that you might want to do
what you expect others to do. You don't have to, of course, that's why it's a question.

[edit] Mediator response

Hi! I think that it's already decided that the article should be redirected. I think you should talk to the user about the process and explain that it was decided by an AfD to do so, and even protect the page if it's needed, but I don't think a Mediation is what you need.. The user can contest it at a deletion review, I think, just tell him this and perhaps he'll stop and follow process. There's no heated argument. If it does become one, we could help to guide the user. For now, case closed. Fetofs Hello! 22:30, 12 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Evidence

Please report evidence in this section with {{Wikipedia:Mediation_Cabal/Evidence}} for misconduct and {{Wikipedia:Mediation_Cabal/Evidence3RR}} for 3RR violations. If you need help ask a mediator or an advocate. Evidence is of limited use in mediation as the mediator has no authority. Providing some evidence may, however, be useful in making both sides act more civil.
Wikipedia:Etiquette: Although it's understandably difficult in a heated argument, if the other party is not as civil as you'd like them to be, make sure to be more civil than him or her, not less.

[edit] Compromise offers

This section is for listing and discussing compromise offers.
