[edit] Request Information

Request made by: JereKrischel 20:45, 9 March 2006 (UTC)
Where is the issue taking place?
Morgan Report
Talk:Morgan_Report#Mediation_on_.22Contradicted_the_Apology_Bill.22
Who's involved?
M.ana, JereKrischel
What's going on?
Dispute regarding section "Contradicted by Apology Resolution" - M.ana wants to remove information responding to that particular critique because it references material I've written elsewhere.
M.ana also seems to insist on deleting entire sections when he has a problem only with one specific nuance - eliminating the POV he disagrees with on the most trivial basis, rather than working the language to be more NPOV. This has started to devolve into an edit war it seems.
What would you like to change about that?
I'd like to keep the citation in, I think it is relevant and clearly indicates the nature of the authorship.
If you'd prefer we work discreetly, how can we reach you?
No need for discretion. I'm more than happy to get messy :).
Would you be willing to be a mediator yourself, and accept a mediation assignment in a different case?
This is, following the Categorical Imperative, the idea that you might want to do
what you expect others to do. You don't have to, of course, that's why it's a question.
Yes.

[edit] Mediator response

I will mediate this case. --Tbeatty 21:20, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Evidence

Please report evidence in this section with {{Wikipedia:Mediation_Cabal/Evidence}} for misconduct and {{Wikipedia:Mediation_Cabal/Evidence3RR}} for 3RR violations. If you need help ask a mediator or an advocate. Evidence is of limited use in mediation as the mediator has no authority. Providing some evidence may, however, be useful in making both sides act more civil.
Wikipedia:Etiquette: Although it's understandably difficult in a heated argument, if the other party is not as civil as you'd like them to be, make sure to be more civil than him or her, not less.

[edit] Compromise offer

This section is for listing and discussing compromise offers.
