[edit] Comments by others
1. The source in question is Meet Linwood Rose, an opinion column in the JMU student newspaper, The Breeze. The author is obviously being facetious, as this is written as a humor piece rather than a work of fact. Compare to Rose's official biography at JMU's Web site. I think all will agree with me that this issue is ridiculous. SchuminWeb (Talk) 23:35, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
2. I completely agree with Schuminweb's comments that the information is erroneous and irrelevant. I have a hard time believing anyone could take it seriously. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and not a compendium of bad jokes. Rtcpenguin 20:27, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
3. Schuminweb has been utilizing wikipedia as a conduit for personal attacks and other slanderous behavior. We inadvertantly hurt his pride by editing the JMU page and he is out to settle the score. Very unprofessional. warnerhw
4. I'm the one who requested the mediation and now I wish to drop my request as I feel it is no longer necessary. Thank you. Goodnite. --Strothra 03:57, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
