- Where is the issue taking place?
- The Schizophrenia article.

- Vaughan and me.

Hi there,
The 'Schizophrenia and Violence' section is relevant and fully referenced by articles from peer-reviewed scientific journals. It was addded in direct response to someone attempting to propogate the 'people with schizophrenia are violent criminals' myth (see section on discussion page entitled 'Medication skipping schizos murder people everywhere') so accurate and up-to-date information on this issue seems relevant.
A search on Google will show that this topic is widely covered by a large number of websites providing public information on schizophrenia, and a search on PubMed shows the issue has been heavily researched and discussed in the medical literature.
Mihai kindly picked up a referencing error and some some minor inaccuracies in the original text in this section, which have now been corrected (see 'Changes' section on Talk page) but so far has provided no justification for the removal of the Violence section except that it doesn't add "tons of value to the article". So far, no-one else has objected substantially to its presence.
I hope this helps makes things clearer.
All the best, - Vaughan 10:16, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
